From Electricity and Fossil Fuels to Sustainable Heating
Around Askeryd, Bordsjö has a large number of properties. Today, we rent out around 35 permanent residences. These homes are typically former main residential buildings from previously active farms, where operations are now managed by the main estate.
We also offer 45 holiday homes for rent, of varying sizes and standards.
In recent years, the focus has been on eliminating dependence on direct electric heating and fossil fuels as energy sources in our homes. In most cases, ground-source heat pumps have replaced previous heating systems. At Askeryd Manor, there is a wood chip heating plant that heats four residences as well as the operational facilities.
All rental properties connected to electricity also have high-speed internet connection.
