Plot Development Project Dåderö, Hörningsholm

As a first subproject within Concept Mörkö, Bordsjö Skogar AB is currently planning approximately 10 plots in Dåderö. The plots are being developed within the existing detailed development plan and are intended to create generously sized natural plots in a beautiful setting. Part of the project also includes the first phase of a modern water and sewage system that will serve the residents of Mörkö.

Concept Mörkö

We strongly believe in developing rural living, both for permanent and recreational purposes. Our ambition is to create a unique living environment for our tenants and leaseholders. Key factors in this project include architecture, infrastructure, cultural heritage, and environmental sustainability.

The Concept Mörkö project began in the spring of 2016 and is expected to continue for several years to come.

Bordsjö Trails, Aneby

On December 7, 2018, the Bordsjö Trails were inaugurated at the Aneby Ski and Orienteering Club’s facility. Bordsjö Skogar AB has become the main sponsor of the club’s artificial snow facility, enabling further investments in youth activities.

The agreement runs over ten years, with a total value of SEK 500,000.

Nature Conservation Agreement – Bordsjöbäcken, Aneby

Bordsjöbäcken is a watercourse classified as being of national interest for nature conservation and hosts one of the finest populations of freshwater pearl mussels in Jönköping County. The stream is also home to trout. To protect and preserve the high natural values of the watercourse, the surrounding zone must be managed in a way that supports the ecological function of the water.

To formalize this protection, Bordsjö Fideikommiss AB entered into a 50-year nature conservation agreement with the County Administrative Board in the autumn of 2023. The agreement covers the section of Bordsjöbäcken that runs through Bordsjö’s land between Västra Lägern and Assjön.

Tile Drainage

2022 – Bordsjö / Herrestad: 63 hectares
2023 – Hörningsholm / Ängsholm: 44 hectares

Well-functioning drainage increases field productivity and is also beneficial for the environment. Crops are able to absorb more nutrients, and the risk of nitrogen and phosphorus losses is reduced. Improved infiltration and soil structure help decrease the climate impact of cultivation per kilogram of product. At the same time, the ability to withstand periods of drought is enhanced.

The investment has been granted EU business support.

Staff Facilities, Askeryd

In late spring 2022, our new staff building in Askeryd was completed, integrated with the existing facilities. The building offers ample space and well-considered solutions to enhance employee well-being, support continued organizational development, and further refine the rural landscape.

Hen House, Askeryd

Bordsjö is developing its operations with organic, KRAV-certified egg production at Askeryds Säteri. The business is now fully established, with housing and outdoor areas in operation since 2016.

The production contributes to local employment and is an integrated part of the estate’s long-term development. Visitors have the opportunity to see the hens in the approximately 7-hectare outdoor range.

In connection with the establishment of the operation, investment support was received from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, granted in early summer 2020.

Staff Facilities, Hörningsholm

A modern staff facility was established at the Hörningsholm farm in 2016. The design focuses on generous spaces, ample natural light, and efficient flows throughout the building.

The connection to the existing workshop provides strong conditions for daily management and serves as a natural setting for brief meetings and check-ins.
