Production and Environment Go Hand in Hand in Askeryd

Forestry in Askeryd has a long-standing tradition. The land stretches from the fertile areas around Ralången and Aneby in the northwest down to Västra Lägern in the southeast. A wide variety of habitats can be found here, although the majority of the forest consists of coniferous stands. Productivity is strong, and harvesting is carried out in balance with growth.

We put a lot of effort into forest management, and over time we aim to increase the proportion of broadleaf trees in our stands.

Of our landholdings in Askeryd, 4,813 hectares consist of productive forest land, with an average site productivity of 9.4 m³sk.
